Vulvodynia is a chronic pain condition that is predominantly in the women genital area. Statistically majority of women suffer this in silence as it is a private and intimate area and therefore, they try to manage the pain. Pelvic and Vulvodynia pain can be stimulated by a number of things, could be injury, pregnancy and child birth or even from a surgery. The pain can also be due to a weak pelvic flaw which can result in vulvodynia pain.

Muscular issues:

Dysfunction of the pelvic floor muscles which would support the pelvic organs can contribute to vulvodynia.

Severity of pelvic pain:

Pelvic pain can be mentally destroying as the pain can become unbearable to manage, making everyday activities hard work. CiONE wellness centre help people suffering from pelvic flaw issues and pain in order to minimise the pain and strengthen the pelvis in order to stabilise the body.

The CiONE team have created the BIOCORE which stabilises the deep muscles within the abdominal muscles creating stability. The BIOCORE has been specifically developed to bring the pelvis back into the correct alignment in order for the pelvis to maintain the forces that it has to deal with only a daily basis.

Tim King states;

“The bio core pulls the pelvis back, it shifts the pelvis back to its neutral tilt rather than the aggressive tilt that the client had when she first came”.

Results have shown that the BIOCORE compliments the Bio Fascial release and helps manage and support the pelvis which takes the pressure off the pelvic flaw which is where the pain stimulates from.

Testimonial:

“I used to struggle to sit down and I had pain during sex, it was just gradually getting worse but then I found CiONE”.

One client in particular suffered from pelvic flaw issues after child birth, it got so severe that she couldn’t sit down and eat dinner for five minutes without having to stand up as sitting down became severely uncomfortable.

The clients’ symptoms were:

  • UTI’s
  • Bloated stomach
  • Thrush
CiONE was a recommendation she states,

“I knew what CiONE was but I didn’t realise how much pelvic pain you did, so I did my research and looked on your website testimonials and their symptoms sounded just like mine which gave me hope”.

Doctors and past physios had given her medication to control the antagonising pain, yet none of them had cured her and the pain once again came back.

The CiONE team did a pelvic assessment whereby they try and find the cause that initiated the pelvic flaw pain. Pelvic pain can often be stimulated through sexual, physical or emotional trauma. Due to these traumas, there is a lack of blood flow in pelvic flaw areas and this therefore leads to bladder, gut, prostate and vaginal issues.

The client states that from the assessment she,

“Leant lots there was so many symptoms that I didn’t realize was a part of my issue so it all started to come together and it was such a relief”.

The Bio Fascial release:

Due to the severity of the pelvic pain a bio fascial release needed to be done in order for the deep fascia to release the tightness that was been held within.

The release is highly significant in reducing Vulvodynia and pelvic flaw pain as it reduced the muscle tension as it relaxes the pelvic flaw muscles which are often severely tight with Vulvodynia.

The lack of blood flow that is created through trauma that has caused the intrinsic muscles to tighten, the Bio Fascia release helps create blood flow within the fascia which can aid healing and reduces chronic pain.

Through the bio fascial release, it directly addresses trigger points and tight fascia which can reduce chronic pain.

Reducing fascial tightness through the release can improve overall pelvic mobility and function.

The pain of the release is around three seconds of pain but it is so superficial and the release can be a relief to clients who suffer continuous pain on a daily basis.

The patient states,

“I think because I felt so uncomfortable I was happy to go through the pain of the release as I just wanted it to cure me, and the real painful bit only lasts a second. Breathing really helped whilst the release was done, it was all for the greater good”.

Commonly vulvodynia and pelvic flaw pain causes a buildup of paniculosis in the fascia situated around the bikini line. This area is very sensitive yet, once the balls are popped and released there is a release in the tension and therefore almost instantaneously reduces the pain.

Paniculosis refers to the inflammation of the panniculus which is a layer of fatty tissue under the skin, Tim King said:

“Panculosis had built up in the fascia to create pelvic pain, the Imatsu technique drains away the paniculosis balls in the fascia”.

The imatzu technique, is used by the CiONE wellness centre team to relax the muscles in order for the paniculosis balls to come to the surface in order for them to be popped. The build up of these balls it was caused the intense pain, once released the pain eases instantaneously.

The patient states:

“The pain was a release, the balls when they were popped felt like a nice relief as Tim was doing it. in particular the balls that had built up around my ribs after the procedure was done, I felt like I could breathe more”.

Tim king replies:

“Pelvic pain does not just revolve around the vagina and the pelvis it can also be linked to the diaphragm; we have to look at the entire body to solve the problem”.

The CiONE wellness centre have fixed this client and she left feeling happier not only physically but mentally.

Through the Biocore exercises her pelvis had shifted into the correct position and the pain was released through the bio fascial release.

She concludes:

“I feel more toned, I feel like I stand taller as well my posture looks better, my shoulders are better I don’t feel all crunched in anymore I feel free. I feel fitter, stronger and happier. Sometimes you don’t realize how bad you’re feeling especially if you’re a 24/7 mum but actually if you can go through this process, and get yourself in a position when you feel fit and strong it better for your family and yourself, it totally worth it and it doesn’t take a massive amount of time either, and in the end focusing on yourself and relieve you from feeling in pain”.
